A set of 11 pieces of milk glass hand picked from Seaham and North East English beaches - mixed clours as in the photos.
All pieces are nice and smooth and rounded - no jagged edges.
Opaque Glass originated in 16th century Venice and came in a variety of colors, including white, green, pink, yellow, blue, and brown. The white variety rose to prominence during the Victorian era.
Photographed with a 5p piece - almost identical to a US dime.
